The plain terms of the mentorship: free to apply, five families selected, a parent or guardian present, and nothing promised that the programme cannot deliver.
PROJECT TEEN BIZ™ is a free educational entrepreneurship mentorship initiative founded by Lamoy Patterson for five families in Broward County, Florida, whose teenagers are between 13 and 17 years old at the time of application.
It is an educational programme. It is not a business, a lender, a law firm, or a promise of any outcome.
Only a parent or legal guardian may submit an application for a teenager.
The teenager must be 13 through 17 years old at the time of application, and the family must live in Broward County, Florida. Those two requirements are checked when the form is submitted, and an application outside them cannot be sent.
Five families will be selected for the 2026 initiative. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and it does not place a family in a queue.
Applications are reviewed individually, and the decision on which families are selected rests with Lamoy Patterson and the programme team.
The mentorship and the included business development services are offered free to selected participants.
Applicable government filing fees, website hosting, and domain expenses are not included. Where a step needs one of those, the family pays it directly to the provider, and the programme does not collect it.
All mentorship sessions take place with a parent or legal guardian present. All communications involving a minor include a parent or legal guardian. Private, unsupervised communication between a mentor and a minor is prohibited.
Participation does not guarantee business registration, business success, financing, income, or any specific financial outcome. The programme teaches; what a participant does with what they learn is their own.
The photography and media release is optional. A parent or legal guardian may decline it, and declining it has no effect on consideration for the programme.
A media authorization given can be withdrawn for future use by sending a written request to the contact address below.
A participant’s date of birth, home address, school details and private contact information are never publicly disclosed. Only the programme owner and the authorized programme team can open an application, and they do so behind a sign-in.
Registration for a round may be closed. When it is closed, the registration form stops accepting applications and says so plainly on the page.
These terms describe the programme as it is published. If something about the programme changes, this page is updated to say so.
